Avatar policy
What profile avatars are supported today, and what is not accepted
1.Current avatar system
The current profile editor uses generated identicons: a style value and a random seed, not an uploaded photo. The seed is saved as profile metadata and does not contain an image, camera data or personal information.
2.If uploads are enabled later
An upload feature will be documented here before launch with its accepted formats, size limits, storage provider, retention period and removal process. Until then, the platform does not accept avatar files through any endpoint.
3.Content standard
Any future avatar must not impersonate staff, contain hate speech, sexual content, threats or copyrighted material you do not have permission to use. Staff may remove a violating asset and record the reason.
4.Do not send files to undocumented endpoints
The profile API accepts only the validated identicon style and seed. A browser request containing a file or an arbitrary URL is rejected; there is no hidden upload path.
