Names, chat and match behaviour — and what breaks the rules

1.The short version

People come here to play games. Be the kind of opponent you would want to queue into again. Everything below is enforced by moderators through real, server-side actions — not by hoping people behave.

2.Usernames

  • No impersonation of another player, a staff member, or a public figure.
  • No hate speech, slurs, threats, or sexual content.
  • No links or advertising in your display name.

3.In chat

  • No harassment, dogpiling or targeted abuse.
  • No posting of another person's personal information.
  • No spam, no repeated flooding, no advertising.
  • No content that is sexual, extremist, or that glorifies self-harm.
  • No organising harassment off-platform.

4.In matches

  • No stalling, no deliberate idling to run the clock.
  • No collusion, no agreed results, no account sharing.
  • No second account used to boost your main account.

5.What moderators can do

Depending on severity: rename an abusive username, delete a message, mute chat for a period, restrict ranked play, suspend the account, or ban it. Every action records a reason, the acting staff account and, where the action is temporary, an expiry. All of it lands in an append-only audit log.

6.If you disagree

Open a ticket on the support page. Appeals are reviewed by staff, and the outcome — including a reversal — is recorded against the original case.
